This image shows the full range of colours possible as a result of firing with Blackwood. The thickest areas are green, followed by grey then dark brown or black to a red blush where thinnest and then to bare clay. The four dark spots result from contact with the wad clay used.

The Clayworks RGH clay used here has a higher iron content than the LGH used above.
