Packing can be awkward even with access via the gap where the front lid sits. |
Pots on the floor under the rear lid and, on the right, the pack in the rear “trench”, which is where wood stoked through the rear side stoke ports land. |
The front wall of the firebox is removed, along with the dog, to make cleaning and packing easier. |
Plates are packed upright at the back of the firebox, separated by seashells. The pots in the background are located under the front lid.
